Hey it’s Shawn. I just wanted to share a quick story I have been meaning to share with everyone.
ShareASale.com is an internet based affiliate network that was founded in Chicago in the year 2000. Over the last few years it has been a pleasure to work with ShareASale. I have been meaning to a do a ShareASale Review for quite sometime. Now that I have the new blog up and running here we go.
It feels like only a couple of months ago that I started marketing products for ShareASale. It’s been a pretty fun ride so far. Here is a little story about how I got started.
I had just started in affiliate marketing and of course I already had accounts with Commission Junction and ClickBank. I wasn’t having as much success as I had wanted so I did some tests and determined it was because I was choosing markets that were too competitive. CJ and ClickBank have a lot of affiliates already so I started looking around for other options. I stumbled upon ShareASale.com
At first glance, it doesn’t look like much. The website design is not as slick as CJ or CB, but don’t be fooled, there is A LOT of money to be made on here.
There are quite a few big name companies using ShareASale. One of my favorite ShareASale merchants is StudioPress.com, I use this WordPress Framework for all of my websites. LifeLock, the identity security company is another large business that offers commissions there.
ShareASale is highly regarded in Internet Marketing circles. They are the “good guys” of the industry. I think it is really paying off for them as they signed up over 100 new merchants this last month alone.
The Positives:
Excellent Customer Service – ShareASale has the best customer service in the Affiliate Network industry, it really is second to none. Being small has its advantages.
Solid Reputation – First class reputation in the industry with a fiercely loyal following.
Easy Commission Payments – Payments go out monthly via check, PayPal or direct deposit.
The Negatives:
Ease of Use – As I eluded to before, the site is not easy to navigate. The user interface can take some time getting used too. But once you do, there are plenty of little affiliate gems to find on this Affiliate Network.
I wholeheartedly recommend signing up with ShareASale and checking out their merchants and affiliate programs.
